Delia Lopez

she/her

Delia Lopez fell in love with the art of design and the satisfaction of fabrication while a student at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. After graduating in 2008 she started her own woodworking business designing and making cutting boards, cribbage boards, and unique pieces of furniture. Delia went on to teach woodworking, wood shop safety, AutoCAD, and prototype making at the very school that began her career.

During Delia’s time at MASS, she spent three years as an instructor, and founded what would go on to be one of MASS Collective’s most vital resources, the apprenticeship program. Her passion for good design and exceptional craftsmanship inspires and empowers students to explore their own ideas and succeed at completing them with a high level of craft. Delia recently completed a year-long designer/maker course at Waters and Acland Furniture School in England. The years of industry experience and love of her craft have helped Delia be a vital member of the Board.
